New Competition

Alright for the new competition I have chosen to go with the subject of "she's a lady" Im sure you can all handle this and good luck to all.

she's a lady

A middle aged lady is she,
born in a city later to flee.
Changed her past to feel belonged,
but found in time it was he that she longed.

Got a job as a nurse,
not understood she felt trapped by a curse.
Struggling with life and how to survive,
she wrote a song and sang it live.

Now the world knew her name,
she finaly forgot her past and the shame.
Her life no longer shady,
people around shouting she's a lady.

Now feeling beautiful inside,
she stands up tall full of pride,
ready to reveal for all on how she had tried.
